Quality checks

The quality control checks on the Quality Control App page allow you to view the details of a quality check and access the necessary information. Quality control users and managers can use this feature to monitor quality check assignments and view key information about a production order. 

  1. Open the Quality Control App page. 

  2. Select the desired quality check from the list. 
    The system displays the following information: 

    FieldDescription
    Quality Check No.Displays the unique identifier of the quality check. (e.g., QC-CHECK002). 
    Quality Plan NameDisplays the name of the quality control plan (e.g., FRUITFULL). 
    Item DescriptionDescribes the item that is being checked. 

General information 

In the General group, you can view the key information related to the specific document type (sales, purchase, production, etc.). 

You can view the following details in the General group. 

FieldDescription
Document Type & No.The document type and the identifier number associated with creating the quality control check. 
Source No. & DescriptionThe identifier number and description of the source associated with creating the quality control check. 
Item No.The identifier number of the item involved in creating the quality control check. 
Location CodeThe location code of the associated item. 
Assigned To TeamThe name of the quality control team. 
Assigned To UserThe user to be assigned for the quality check. You can also select the user’s name from the dropdown. This field is editable for users with Quality Control Manager permission on the Quality Control User Setup page. 

The assigned username is automatically populated in the Assigned To field on the Quality Control Check page as soon as you start answering the questions on the page. Once the changes or updates are made on the Quality Control Check page, the status of the quality control check changes to In progress, and the status is automatically populated on the Quality Control App page. 

Lot information 

In the Lot Information group, you can view the lot details if the quality control check is created per lot.

You can view the following fields in the Lot Information group.

FieldDescription
Lot No.Displays the lot number assigned to the item. 
Expiration DateDisplays the defined expiration date of the lot. 
Lot AttributesLists any specific attributes related to the lot. The Aptean Advanced Attributes extension must be installed to view and access these details. 


The system displays lot attribute details only when the Aptean Advanced Attributes extension is installed and the lot number associated with the quality control check has lot attributes assigned to it.
