Introduction

The Aptean Quality Control (QCA) for Food and Beverage (BC) extension is designed to simplify and automate the process of certifications, audits, and managing business activities. It intends to solve a major challenge of quality control for a large force, including importers, growers, packers/shippers, distributors, processors, and repackers, with a plethora of options like truck inspection, product inspection, and production or periodic monitoring.

This extension facilitates the creation and execution of quality checks with ease. These checks can be initiated through triggers within Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central. The results of the checks are readily available, allowing for deviations to be promptly addressed. The Aptean Quality Control extension for BC in Dynamics 365 Business Central facilitates the establishment of quality triggers, which generate quality checks upon the completion of specific actions, such as document release or posting. Upon executing an action associated with a quality trigger, the trigger generates a new quality check document.
