Features

The following features have been added in this release of the Aptean Quality Control (QCA) extension.

Configure quality control

• Enable Azure Blob Storage for the uploaded images to optimize storage on the Quality Control Setup page.
• Define a custom timeframe to display posted quality checks and actions in the QC Data Load Period field.

Introducing the Quality Control App

• Access a consolidated screen for checks and actions with filtering and search functions on the Quality Control App page. You can use the Checks tab to view and filter the assigned quality checks.
• Assign users to quality checks dynamically and track key details, including status, document type, source information, and assigned teams.
• Answer questions about quality checks and quality actions within the Quality Control App page, featuring a user-friendly interface.
• Record and analyze multiple readings for sample-based questions.
• View a detailed line chart showing the highest, lowest, and average readings per sample.
• Upload, capture, view, delete, and download images for quality check questions. Images can be stored in Azure Blob Storage, depending on the setup on the Quality Control Setup page.
• Add comments to individual quality check and quality action questions for additional context. Manage and edit comments dynamically within the Quality Control App page.
• ⁠Post completed quality checks and quality actions with validation for all responses.
• View scores and quality levels (pass/fail) with detailed scoring criteria. You can access action plans and results directly from the posted quality check.
• ⁠View detailed fields for quality actions, including status, action plans, assigned users, and completion dates. You can use the Actions tab to view and filter assigned quality actions.
• Filter actions using the Show Posted toggle to display posted, non-posted, or both types of quality actions.

Integrations

You can integrate the Aptean Quality Control (BC) extension with the Aptean Shop Floor Production (BC) extension to navigate seamlessly from production orders to quality checks on the Quality Control App page for streamlined quality control during production.

UI/UX changes

The following UI/UX changes have been made in this release.

• The Quality Control App page has been added.
• The Blob Storage FastTab has been added to the Quality Control Setup page.
• The QC Data Load Period field has been added to the General FastTab of the Quality Control Setup page.
