Downtime Scheduling Matrices

You can configure the downtime necessary for various operations, such as changing machine center or work center settings or performing maintenance tasks.

  1. Select the Search icon , enter Downtime Scheduling Matrices, and then choose the related link.
    The Downtime Scheduling Matrices page opens.
  2. On the Filters FastTab, fill in the fields as follows:
FieldDescription
Type FilterSelect whether the downtime schedule applies to the work center or the machine center.
No. FilterSelect the work center or machine center number to filter the routing lines.

Based on the specified filters, you can access the following fields:

Downtime Scheduling TypeSelect the type of downtime scheduling, determining whether it applies to the item or specific attribute values.
Item Attribute NameSelect the description of the specified downtime scheduling type, providing context for the downtime scheduling. This field is editable only when the Downtime Scheduling Type field is set as Scheduling Attribute, which establishes its own hierarchy for attribute values.
From CodeSelect the attribute value or item number initiating the downtime scheduling process.
From Code DescriptionIndicates the description corresponding to the selected attribute value or item number initiating the downtime scheduling process.
To CodeSelect the attribute value or item number to which the downtime is applied.
To Code DescriptionIndicates the description corresponding to the selected attribute value or item number to which the downtime is applied.
Production Downtime ItemSelect the item number set up as a downtime item.
Downtime DurationEnter the time required to schedule the downtime for the specified attribute or item.
Downtime Scheduling UoMIndicates the unit of measure for the downtime sourced from the selected work center or machine center.

The downtime scheduling matrix has been set up.
