Introduction

The Aptean Production Scheduling extension enables you to schedule production orders efficiently. The Workload page gives an insight into the workload assigned to multiple Work Centers/Machine Centers for the near future. This page shows if a Work Center or Machine Center is overloaded or underloaded.

The Production Order Scheduling page displays the crucial information that assists in making the right scheduling decisions. This page offers different functionalities to move production orders. After moving, the changes in the complete production plan can be seen. For example, you can view any overlapping issues between orders and know if all production orders will fit in one day. You can view the relationship between the sales order and their due dates. You can sort the production orders using the item attributes.

The Production Scheduling Attributes are several dedicated item attributes that can be used when scheduling production orders. They can be set up to achieve a sequence of production orders on the Production Order Scheduling page.
