With the features added in this release of the Aptean Protein Essentials extension, you can:

Enable slaughter date tracking for raw protein items by configuring the Protein Essentials Setup page. For more information, see Set up protein essentials.
Assign slaughter dates on item tracking lines during inventory posting, ensuring accurate traceability from receiving to consumption. For more information, see Item tracking and lot management.
Automatically generate lot numbers based on slaughter dates by configuring the Lot No. Profile page. For more information, see Set up lot number profile.
Create license plates that inherit slaughter dates from lot tracking lines to maintain consistent date tracking across inventory records. For more information, see Configure license plating with slaughter date.
