Set up producer certification

You control the visibility of global and non-global attributes on the Producer Certificate Setup page. You can also set up three non-global attributes. The following procedures describe how to perform this activity.

  1. Select the Search icon , enter Producer Certification Setup, and then choose the related link.
    The Producer Certification Setup page opens.
  2. On the General FastTab, fill in the following fields:

Show Global AttributesSpecifies whether the Global Attributes must be visible on the Producer Certificate page.
Show Non Global AttributesSpecifies whether the Global Attributes must be visible on the Producer Certificate page.
Non Global Attributes 1Specifies the non global attribute 1 that can be associated with the item to be used on the Producer Certificate page.
Non Global Attributes 2Specifies the non global attribute 2 that can be associated with the item to be used on the Producer Certificate page.
Non Global Attributes 3Specifies the non global attribute 3 that can be associated with the item to be used on the Producer Certificate page.

This page allows you to choose Global Attributes as certification filters and select three Non-Global Attributes as certification filter criteria.

  1. On the action bar, click Create Producer Certificates to create Producer Certificate Cards with the same Producer Certificate No. available on the Assigned Certificates action on the Lot No. Information Card page.

If the Aptean Advanced Attributes extension is not installed, you can view this page, but not edit it.

Create Producer Certification Code

Various industries may require specific certificates to ensure that their products comply with health and safety regulations. To address this need, you can create and categorize the appropriate producer certifications that are applicable to your industry or product. The following procedures describe how to create the code for the producer certification applicable for your products.

  1. Select the Search icon , enter Producer Certification Classification, and then choose the related link.

    The Producer Certification Classification page opens.

    Producer certification codes represent a generic type of certificate (e.g., ‘Quality Certificate’) but also signify a very specific type of certificate such as HCCP, BRC, or Global GAP. This group of specific certificates is usually linked to a third-party certification agencies. These agencies provide certificate information through an online portal, which is accessible through manual consultation or queries using APIs. The following procedures explain configuring login credentials for a designated third-party agency and streamlining automated communication.

  2. On the action bar, select New to create a new certificate.

  3. On the General FastTab, in the Code field, enter the code.

  4. In the Description field, enter the short description.

  5. On the Access Provider FastTab, in the Access Provider field, select Global GAP from the dropdown.

  6. In the Username field, enter the username associated with this specific certification group to log in to the certification agency’s system for managing or accessing certification-related information.

  7. In the Password field, enter the corresponding password for the provided username.

  8. In the O-key Editor field, enter the specific access code associated with this user account to identify that your account can edit information.
