Scan License Plate Format when Customer does not have SSCC Number

During the partial picking of a Sales Order, the picked item/lot must be transferred anyway. The new License Plate number needs to be entered or scanned. In this scenario, if there is no customer SSCC number, and the new License Plate number must contain the number format of the Company SSCC.

1. Select the Pick icon on the home screen of the mobile device to open the Pick page.
2. Enter or scan the Warehouse Pick number for a customer on the Pick/SO/Trans/WMS No. field for a customer.
3. On the Identifier field, enter or scan the License Plate number of the physical pallet.
   In this case, the system requires a company SSCC number if the Customer has no SSCC number.
   Currently, checking from the Mobile Setup regarding the usage of the New License Plate number pattern exists. This will be overruled, and the entered Customer SSCC number will be recognized instead of the New License Plate number pattern.
   When scanning a new License Plate currently, the number series from the New License Plate number pattern is applied. The new License Plate number will contain a different SSCC number format and should be allowed.
   Since the pallet is homogeneous, the item, variant, lot number and shipping container are automatically entered in the mobile device. This is equal to the default SSCC in the Default Packaging setup of the item.
4. Enter the quantity.
   The quantity on the license plate should be less than the quantity on the pick line. Use a new license plate and scan each line. The partial picking process starts from this step.
5. Scan a new License plate.
   This License Plate should match the Company SSCC number, as this is for a customer requiring an SSCC number.
6. After scanning the New License Plate number, scan the Take License Plate number.
7. Approve the shipping container code and shipping unit code.
8. Scan the remaining quantity from another License Plate number.
9. Scan the New License Plate.
10. Scan the Take License Plate number.
11. On the Identifier field, enter or scan the item number.
12. On the Identifier field, enter or scan the lot number.

A homogenous pallet is allowed according to the Customer SSCC Setup. An error message is shown for the Mixed Lot.

13. Scan a new License Plate number.
14. Scan the Take License Plate number after scanning the new License Plate number.
15. On the Identifier field, enter or scan an item number.
16. On the Identifier field, enter or scan the lot number.
    As it is a Homogeneous Lot in the Customer SSCC setup, it is checked whether the new License Plate contains only one item and one lot number after scanning/entering the Lot number. A similar checking process is executed while creating an SSCC number in Business Central.
17. Approve the shipping unit code.
18. Fill in the value in the Qty. Handled field.

When the corresponding pick line in Business Central gets updated, the new License Plate number is placed in the New License Plate number field in the corresponding Warehouse Pick line.

Similar data is updated on the related Warehouse Shipment. The new license plate label is printed automatically when registering the warehouse pick. If the License Plate is transferred to a new License Plate number required by the SSCC settings, the new License Plate format should be same as the expected License Plate format for Company SSCC or Customer SSCC.

The License Plate Label should be printed if the Warehouse Pick does not contain a new (pick) License Plate.

If the Mixed lot is allowed, it is checked for the new License Plate containing only one item after entering the Lot number. An error message is shown if it is a homogenous lot.

If the Homogeneous lot is allowed, it is checked for the new License Plate containing only one item after entering the Lot number. An error message is shown if it is a mixed lot.
