Print label from Receipt

The label can be an RDLC report or can be printed using Aptean Labeling Extension based on selected value in the Label Printing Method field on the Mobile Setup page. You can now manually choose which RDLC report must be printed using the Lot Tag Report ID, Receiving Label Report ID and License Plate Report ID fields on the Mobile Setup page.

With the Print function on the Summary screen of the Receipt activity, you can print lot labels if the item is lot tracked, and you can print license plate label per scanned license plate if the item is license plate tracked. This license plate label can be an RDLC report or can be printed using Aptean Food and Beverage Labeling extension based on selected value in the Label Printing Method field on the Mobile Setup page.

1. Open the Menu icon to open the Summary tab in the Receive activity.
2. Select the record with the required Item No., License Plate No., (unassigned) Lot Number and Qty.
3. Select Print.

A confirmation prompt is displayed confirming the printing. The Selected Printer field on the confirmation box displays all the printers on the Label Printer Setup page as a dropdown along with the DEFAULT PRINTER option. The field is set with the last printer used, as default.

The lot label is printed if the item is lot tracked, and the license plate label is printed if the item is license plate tracked. If the Label Printing Method field on the Mobile Setup page has been set up with the Labeling, the printing is executed via the Aptean Food and Beverage Labeling extension. The license plate label is printed. The information regarding the label can be viewed on the Label Output Files page in Business Central.

Auto Print label from Receipt with Accept function

The label printing can be performed automatically by enabling Auto Print Tag setting on the Mobile Profile Setup page.

When clicking Accept on the Details page of the Receipt activity, the lot label (if the item is lot tracked) or the license plate label (if the item is license plate tracked) will be printed automatically.

1. Open the Menu icon to open the Summary tab in the Receive activity.
2. Select a record with the required Item No., License Plate No., unassigned Lot Number and Qty.
3. Select Details.
4. Select Accept.
5. The Lot No. is created automatically. The label is also printed automatically as Auto Print Tag is set to Yes on the Mobile Profile Setup page.

If the Label Printing Method field on the Mobile Setup page has been set up with the Labeling, the label printing is executed via the Aptean Food and Beverage Labeling extension. The information for the label is updated on the Label Output Files page in Business Central.
