When a pick quantity is recorded against a particular document line via Aptean Mobile Warehouse Registration, the amount is not entered directly into the Qty. to Handle field. Instead, this data is maintained in a separate field called Scan Quantity. The No. of Scans field specifies how many times the scan action has been performed.

It is possible to configure the pick activity to allow for the registering of recorded data via the Aptean Mobile Warehouse Registration application. When a mobile user registers a warehouse pick through the handheld device, the program will automatically update each line’s quantity to handle with its recorded scan quantity, then register the document. In such a scenario, it is not necessary to perform any additional processing within Business Central.

If this feature has not been enabled, however, a user must manually update the relevant fields before the warehouse pick can be registered. This is achieved by opening the relevant pick document, clicking on theTransfer Scan Data option.

The values in the Scan Quantity field will be automatically copied to the Qty. to Handle field on each line. The document is now ready to be registered.
