Dynamics 365 Business Central Activity I

The picks to which data will be recorded via Aptean Mobile Warehouse Registration can be created from outbound documents or warehouse shipments within Business Central prior to mobile processing. Although it is not required, it may be useful to enter the ID for the mobile user who will process the pick activity in the Assigned User ID field on the General FastTab of the Warehouse Pick page.

When a user launches the pick activity in Aptean Mobile Warehouse Registration, it is possible to view a list of only those pick documents that have been assigned to the relevant user ID.

It is also possible to create a pick from a warehouse shipment or an outbound document (sales, purchase return, or outbound transfer orders) within Aptean Mobile Warehouse Registration. If picks will be created from Aptean Mobile Warehouse Registration, the status of the related outbound document must be changed to Released in Business Central.

The order in which pick lines are sequenced can be modified by selecting an option in the Sorting Method field on the General FastTab of the Warehouse Pick page. Using this field, it is possible to sequence pick lines according to a number of criteria, including item, document, and bin code. When Aptean Mobile Warehouse Registration presents picking instructions to the user, they are according to the order in which lines are sequenced on the relevant pick document.
