Pick

This activity allows the user to pick items from a warehouse’s storage bins in preparation for shipments. The following types of pick can be processed via Aptean Mobile Warehouse Registration:

• Warehouse Picks are created from warehouse shipments. When a warehouse pick is registered, the items on the pick’s lines are removed from their storage bins and placed in the warehouse’s designated shipping bin to await shipment. Registering a warehouse pick will also update the related warehouse shipment. Warehouse picks must be completed before a warehouse shipment can be posted.

In addition to being available for selection in the Action menu on the home screen, the Pick activity can be launched in the following ways:

• With the home screen open, pressing the F5 button on the handheld device.
• Entering or scanning a pick, warehouse shipment, or released outbound document (sales, purchase return, or outbound transfer order) number in the quick scan area on the home screen.
• Clicking the Pick icon in the Tile view or the Pick option in the list view on the home screen.
