Parse barcode according to setup in Business Central at receipt

You can parse a user-defined barcode, which is set up on the Mobile Barcode Setup. This can be performed while scanning a warehouse receipt based on a Purchase Order, Transfer Order or Sales Return order. See Mobile Barcode Formats for more information.

The scanned barcode will be parsed and split, and the value is mapped based on the Mobile Barcode Setup while scanning a warehouse receipt based on a Purchase Order, Transfer Order or Sales Return Receipt. When a value is successfully mapped, for example the quantity, the step for entering the quantity handled is automatically skipped.

It’s currently only supported to parse and split a user-defined barcode at the step of entering the item number.
