Automate SSCC label printing in pick registration

You can automate the printing of Serial Shipping Container Code labels during pick registration for lot-tracked and license plate tracked items, streamlining the process, reducing manual effort, and ensuring label generation for outbound processes.

Follow the steps below to automatically set up the description for printing SSCC labels.

  1. Open the Mobile Profile Setup page.
  2. In the Profile field, select the mobile profile for which the setup options are shown.
  3. In the Page field, select PICK.
    The Auto Print SSCC Label description is set to No by default.
    To enable automatic SSCC label printing, the Auto Print SSCC Label description must be set as Yes.


Ensure that the Label Printing Method field is set to Labeling or RDLC on the Mobile Setup page to automatically print SSCC labels.

Follow the steps below to automatically print SSCC labels during pick registration.

  1. Open the Pick screen in the Aptean Mobile Warehouse app.
  2. Scan the SSCC number as per customer SSCC format or SSCC pattern defined on the Mobile Setup page.
  3. Scan the bin code.
  4. Scan the item number and lot number.
  5. In the Quantity field, enter the required quantity to be picked.
    The system automatically prints the SSCC label using the SSCC Label Layout Code field value specified on the Customer SSCC Setup page.

  • Ensure that the SSCC Label Layouts page and Label Printing Method field on the Mobile Setup page are configured before registering the pick.
  • If multiple SSCC numbers are associated with a single warehouse pick, labels are printed for all SSCCs during pick registration.
