Production orders

You can add personalized fields to the production overview page.

1. Select the Search icon , enter Planned Production Order, and then choose the related link.
   The Planned Production Orders page opens.
2. On the action bar, select New.
   The Planned Production Order page opens.
3. Add the Production BOM No., Prod. BOM Version Code, Routing No., and Routing Version Code fields on any of the FastTabs.

[Note!] To add personalized fields on the Firm Planned Prod. Order and Released Production Order page, follow the same steps as above.

To add personalized field on the Production Order List page:

1. Select the Search icon , enter Production Order List, and then choose the related link.
   The Production Order List page opens.
2. Add the Production BOM No., Prod. BOM Version Code, Routing No., and Routing Version Code fields.

In a production order, the behavior of the header fields depends on the Source Type field value:

• When the Source Type field value is set to Family, the system allows you to select the desired routing number and routing version code on the production order header. These values are then applied to the production order lines, consistent with the behavior for item-based production orders.
  If the production order contains multiple lines with the same item on all lines, the following fields become editable:

  • Routing No.
  • Routing Version Code
  • Production BOM No.
  • Production BOM Version Code

  The initial values in the Routing No. and Routing Version No. fields are populated from the setup on the Family Card page.
  The initial values in the Production BOM No. and Production BOM Version fields are populated based on the setup on the Item Card page.
  If the production order contains multiple lines with multiple different items:

  • The Routing No. and Routing Version No. field values are always editable with the initial values inherited from the Family Card page.
  • The Production BOM No. and Production BOM Version field values are non-editable and empty on the production order lines.

• When the Source Type field value is set to Sales Header, the following field values on the production order header become blank and non-editable.

  • Routing No.
  • Routing Version Code
  • Production BOM No.
  • Production BOM Version Code
