PBI 184066 - Brewing no. (Gyle no.)
What
Brewing no. (Gyle no.)
Why
As a Production Manager I need to be able to track each produced item to the original brew(s) in 1 step, so I can label the finished items with the used brews and easily trace any finished product by the brew No.
The Brewing no. should have a sequential numbering, gaps are not allowed, for this we use a No. Series.
How
Setup
- The Brew No. Series on the Item takes precedence over the settings on the Location.
- The Brew No. Series on the Location takes precedence over the settings on the Manufacturing Setup.
- Only enable Brew No. Mandatory on Lot tracked brews, not on other items.
On the Manufacturing Setup
- Select the Search icon , enter Manufacturing Setup, and then choose the related link.
- On the Beverage Production FastTab, add a No. Series to the Brew No. Series field.
- Enter a string to divide multiple Brew Nos into the Brew No. Divider field, on the Beverage Production FastTab .
On the Location
- Select the Search icon , enter Locations, and then choose the related link.
- Select the location for which you want to add the functionality.
- Add a No. Series to the Brew No. Series field, on the Beverage Production FastTab.
On the Item
- Select the Search icon , enter Items, and then choose the related link.
- Add a No. Series to the Brew No. Series field.
- Enable the Brew No. Mandatory field.
Flow
- Before posting output, you need to assign the brew no. with the Assign Brew No. action in the Released Production Order.
- When posting output on an item, with Brew No. Mandatory, the brew No will be linked to the Item No. - Lot No. combination in the Brew Numbers.
- When consuming an item, with, or having a predecessor with, Brew No. Mandatory, the Production Order No will be linked to the Brew Nos. of the predecessors by consumption.
- When finishing a Production order, the produced item will be linked to the Item No. - Lot No. combination in the Brew Numbers to all Brew Nos of the predecessors.
Report

- The Released Production Order List

PBI 229570 - Auto FEFO - Create Additional Prod. Order Component Line for Untracked Quantity
What
Auto FEFO - Create Additional Prod. Order Component Line for Untracked Quantity.
Why
As a Production employee, I want the actions Assign Tracking by FEFO and Assign FEFO by Volume*Strength to create an additional consumption line with the correct quantity, so I can easily assign the correct Lot Nos to the different consumption lines.
The additional line will not be created for principal components. The on principal components is not changed.
How
Flow
- Select the Search icon , enter Released Production Orders, and then choose the related link.
- Select the Production order in which you want to consume.
- Select
- Or the action Assign Component Tracking by FEFO
- Or, in the lines, the action Components
- Select the action Assign Tracking by FEFO or Assign FEFO by Volume*Strength.
- Additional lines will be created for non-principal components.
PBI 229100 - Fix - MFB - Dependent Component doesn’t work correctly
What
Wrong value in Dependent Component when using Assign FEFO by Volume/Strength
Why
When you assigned a lot number to component lines in a production journal with the Assign FEFO by Volume/Strength action, the expected quantity and the consumption quantity of the dependent components were not correct when one of the components was an active ingredient. This is solved.
