To register warehouse put-away with license plate
You cannot assign an existing license plate number to a warehouse receipt if it already contains inventory. Attempting to post the warehouse receipt will trigger an error message indicating that the selected license plate already contains unallocated inventory for the warehouse receipt.
Upon posting a warehouse receipt, if a warehouse put-away is generated based on the location setup, the warehouse put-away lines will be divided per lot number and license plate number.
NoteThe Split Line action cannot be executed on a warehouse put-away line when a license plate number is assigned to it.
When one license plate is assigned to multiple warehouse put-away lines within the same document, changing one of the place-bin codes, will automatically change all the place-bin codes to the newly selected bin code for that specific license plate. This will prevent placing one license plate onto multiple bins, since this is not possible.
