How to use Cut-off time per Route

When our customer Fairway Sound Café is ordering goods for Route 1210, he needs to order before 2:00 PM and I as a sales employee wants to be informed if the order is entered after the cut-off time.

  1. Select the Search icon , enter Logistics Employees List, and then choose the related link for your user and change the Route Cut off warning filed to Warning.
  2. Select the Search icon , enter Sales Orders, and then choose the related link.
  3. On the action bar, select New.
  4. On the General FastTab in Customer No. field select 61000.
  5. Fill in the fields as necessary to create a sales order. Hover over a field to read the tooltip.
  6. On the Logistics FastTab, change the Route by selecting the AssistEdit button to access the source route table.
  7. Select route 1210, this route has the setup for Cut-off warning of 1D and 2:00 PM.
  8. On the Shipping and Billing FastTab, in the Shipment Date field is set to May 3th 2022.
  9. On the Lines , select Item No. 1010 with a quantity of 10.
  10. Release the sales order, on the action bar select Release and then select Release. When releasing, a message box is displayed that the cut off time is due for the route and asks if you want to continue: Yes or No. By selecting Yes, the release will be executed, with No a message appears that the update is interrupted and the sales order cannot be released.
  11. After Release the Route Planning No. field specifies the route planning no. where the sales order is linked to.
  12. On the Logistics FastTab, verify the Route Planning No. field. Notice that the Logistic Status is changed to Released. In the Logistics FastTab, you can see 0.25 pallet in the Total Quantity Pallet (OUT) with a Total Weight (OUT) of 175.80 KG.
