Training
This exercise will help you to get a better understanding of the Drink-it Logistics App. The exercise can be performed in the CRONUS DIT DEMO company.
Create a copy of this company to keep your CRONUS DIT DEMO in the original state. In the copy you can do all the exercises that are included in the training.
Exercise 7- Warehouse integration
1. Master Data
Search for Routes.
- Create a new route
- Code: your NAME_WMS
- Name: Delivery route from WMS location - your name (NAME)
- Shipping Location and Receipt Location: select SILVER
- Multiple order route = yes
Search for Customers. Filter on the customer’s with your name.
- Change default route to NAME_WMS
2.Order creation
Search for Sales orders.
Create the same orders for your customer NAME1, NAME2 and NAME3 as in training Route delivery sales orders, this time with your ‘WMS’ route.
Route Planning
Search for Route Planning No. Make sure your filter is set to your routes and the date filter is set to tomorrow. Select the route planning line of your WMS route.
- Select a Vehicle and Driver
- Click on the (header) action Create Warehouse Shipment.
- Open the warehouse shipment via the Find entries action
Search for Sales orders.
Create the same orders for your customer NAME4 as in training Route delivery sales orders, this time with your ‘WMS’ route.
Search for Route Planning No. Make sure your filter is set to your routes and the date filter is set to tomorrow. Select the route planning line of your WMS route.
- Notice the Logistic Status of the 4 orders in this route planning no. the last one is new and not part of the warehouse shipment yet.
- Click again on the (header) action Create Warehouse Shipment and confirm to combine.
- Notice the Logistic Status of the last order.
- Open the warehouse shipment via the Find entries action and notice the lines for your last order were added.
Add returned empties via the route request line, function Return Entry, the same as in training Route delivery sales orders.
- Click on the (header) action Create Warehouse Receipt
- Open the warehouse receipt via the Find entries action and notice all returned empties are in.
