Word Template Support

You can define a standard communication template when contacting customers of an item withdrawal.

  1. Select the Search icon , enter Word Templates and then choose the related link.
  2. Select and click the required Code to select the appropriate record associated with the ‘Interaction Merge Data’ type.
  3. In the action bar, click New > Create a template to open the Create a Word Template page.
  4. Click Interaction Merge Data.
  5. Click Next.
  6. Click Add a related entity (simple).
  7. On the Related Entity page, click the Name field and choose the required ID based on the Object Caption.Customer, shipment, item ledger entry, Item, Lot No. Information, Location tables are made available along with the standard tables.
  8. Click OK on the Selected related entity for the Word template page.
  9. Click OK on the Related Entity page.
  10. Repeat steps 7 through 9 to add more Related Entities.
  11. Click Next on the Create a Word Template page.
  12. Click Download a blank template to download the blank template containing all the fields of the selected tables.
    A .zip file with the word and excel document will be downloaded. Extract the files and open the word document.
  13. In the word document, on the menu bar, click Mailings > Insert Merge Field to see all the fields present in the document.
  14. Select the required field and click Insert to include the table in the document.
  15. Save the document.
  16. On the Create a Word Template page, click Next.
  17. Click Upload the template.
  18. Click Choose and select the saved word document.
    The document will be included as a new word template in the Word Templates page.
