Manage output journals

On the Output Journals page, you can assign the lot number and delete the item tracking code for the applicable routing lines of multiple released production orders.

Prerequisites

• On the relevant Item Card page, the following fields must be filled in:
  1. The Item Tracking Code field
  2. Either the Lot Nos. or Lot No. Profile field
• On the relevant Item Tracking Code Card page, the Lot Specific Tracking toggle should be enabled.

To assign the lot number and delete the item tracking code for released production orders

1. Select the Search icon , enter Output Journals, and then choose the related link.
   The Output Journals page opens.
2. In the Order No. field, enter the relevant production order number.
3. On the action bar, select Process > Explode Routing.
   The routing lines for the selected production order are displayed.
4. On the action bar, select Actions > Functions >
   • Assign Lot No. – Select this action to assign the lot number to the applicable routing lines.
   • Delete Item Tracking – Select this action to delete the item tracking code that is assigned for the applicable routing lines.
