Printer code setup
Printer codes are reference codes for communicating with third-party software and directing tasks to the correct printer. The Printer Code Setup page lets you define unique configurations for each label printer, ensuring accurate label printing.

Select the Search icon
, enter Printer Code Setup and then choose the related link.

On the Printer Code Setup page, in the Code field, enter the unique identifier for the printer setup configuration. This value must be distinct for each printer setup record.

In the Printer Code field, assign a distinct code associated with the printer for identification of the specific printer during label printing tasks.
When the Integration Type field value is set to BarTender Cloud on the Labeling Setup page, follow the below steps to configure the Printer Code field value:-
Use “printer:” as a prefix.

Remove the UNC (Universal Naming Convention) prefix

Replace all spaces with underscores (_).

Replace backslashes (
\
) with forward slashes (/
).For example, if the original printer path is:
\\mypc.seagullscientific.com\Zebra 110Xi4(300 dpi)
Use the following format:
.seagullscientific.com/Zebra_110Xi4(300_dpi)

In the Endpoint URL field, enter the endpoint URL for the printer’s label software. This is crucial for directing print requests to the correct location.
