Introduction

The Aptean Labeling extension makes it possible to set up labels that can be printed from different pages. During printing, the contents of the labels are retrieved and sent to an external label program.

The content of the labels is set up in the label setup. The label setup makes it possible to retrieve data from different tables by establishing relationships between tables. This makes it possible to print all data from tables within Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central on the label.

Within the Labeling extension, an API is available which makes it possible to print labels from external programs and retrieve the content via Dynamics 365 Business Central.

The Label Output File page gives insight into which labels are printed. It provides information about where and when the labels are printed, and what the content is which is printed on the labels. These label output files also provide the option to reprint labels.
