Change inspection status code

You can change the inspection status of one or more existing lot numbers. This can also be executed from within an external system using the API Change Inspection Status function. When using this API, the value from the API Reason Code Change Inspection Status field from the Inspection Status Setup page is used. When changing the status manually, then the reason code should be selected manually.

You cannot change the inspection status when:

The following procedure outlines how to change the inspection status code.

  1. Select the Search icon , enter Lot No. Information List, and then choose the related link.
    The Lot No. Information List page opens.
  2. Select the lot number(s) for which you want to change the inspection status code.
  3. On the action bar, select Change Inspection Status.
    The Change Inspection Status page opens.
  4. In the Inspection Status Code field, select the new inspection status code that you want to assign.
  5. In the Reason Code field, select the reason for changing the inspection status code.
    It is optional to add a comment in the Comment text box.
  6. Select OK.
    The Inspection Status Code is changed and shown on the relevant Lot No. Information Card page(s). The Inspection Status Alerts and Audit Trail entries are created when you change the inspection status code for lot number(s).

Inspection status change worksheet

You can change the inspection status for multiple lot records at once on the Inspection Status Change Worksheet page. To do that, follow these steps:

  1. Select the Search icon , enter Inspection Status Change Worksheet, and choose the related link.
    The Inspection Status Change Worksheet page opens.
  2. In the Worksheet Name field, select the worksheet name that you want to use.
  3. On the action bar, select Generate Lines.
    The Generate Worksheet Lines page opens.
  4. On the Options FastTab, fill in the necessary filter fields to identify the lot records as follows.

Worksheet NameSpecifies the selected worksheet name.
Inspection Status CodeSelect the inspection status code to filter the lot records.
Item No.Select the item number to filter the lot records.
Lot No.Select the lot number to filter the lot records.
Creation Date FilterSelect the date to filter the lot records based on their creation date.
Set as SelectedTurn on this toggle to automatically select all lines that will be generated by the filter.
Delete Existing LinesTurn on this toggle to remove any existing lines from the worksheet, keeping only the newly generated ones.

You can also add further manual filters on the Lot No. Information FastTab for more specific results.

  1. Select OK.

At least one filter field, such as Inspection Status Code, Item No., Lot No., or Creation Date must have a value to proceed. The system will display the filtered lot records as lines on the worksheet, including key details like item number, lot number and description, inspection status, quantity on hand, and base unit of measure.

  1. Select the required lines.
  2. On the action bar, select Change Inspection Status.
    The Change Inspection Status page opens.

This action is available only when at least one line is selected.

  1. On the New FastTab, in the Inspection Status Code field, select the new inspection status code that you want to assign.
  2. In the Reason Code field, select the reason for changing the inspection status code. It is optional to add a comment in the Comment text box.
  3. Select OK.
    The inspection status code is changed for all the selected records and updated on the relevant Lot No. Information Card pages. The Inspection Status Alerts and Audit Trail entries will also be created.
  4. On the action bar, select Delete Selected to remove selected lines
    or select Delete All to remove all the lines from the worksheet.

The Delete Selected action is available only when at least one line is selected.
