Inventory projected availability
Once the request page is set up, you can check the inventory and the projected availability of an item or a group of items on the Inventory Projected Availability page. After running the report, the conversion of data for the items occurs on the Inventory Projected Availability Entries FastTab based on the values that you choose on the Inventory Projected Availability request page.
You can find the summary of data for all the projected dates on the Entries FastTab in the following fields:
- Item No.
- Unit of Measure
- Location
- Physical Inventory
- Committed/Gross Requirement
- Expected
- Available
The fields on the Entries FastTab reflect the Committed, Expected, and Available values of the items based on the above fields for the projected period.
This extension further enables you to check the item availability by applying the following filters:
- Event
- Period
- Variant
- Location
- Lot
- BOM Level
- Unit of Measure
To do so, on the Entries FastTab, choose Availability > Item Availability by. A new page will open with the item availability data based on the selected filter.
NoteYou can perform new calculations in the fields on the Entries FastTab by changing the filters. To do so, choose the Calculate action on the action bar to open the Inventory Projected Availability request page.
To navigate further into the respective inventory list pages and check the Inventory Document Types, click the value in the fields on the Entries FastTab.
NoteThe available quantity through the projected timeline is calculated with the quantity present in the Physical Inventory – Committed/Gross + Expected.
