Manifest Translations
On the Manifest Translations page, you can set up translations for values on the manifest file that need to be imported into system values. This feature facilitates the translation of values during data exchange, ensuring accurate and consistent communication between systems.
To set up manifest translation
- Select the Search icon
, enter Manifest Translations, and then choose the related link.
The Manifest Translations page opens. - On the action bar, select New.
- Fill in the fields as follows:

| Data Exchange Definition | Select the data exchange definition code for which you want to define a translation. |
| Field ID | Enter or use the AssistEdit button to select the field ID for which you want to define a translation. These field IDs are sourced from the manifest lines. |
| Field Name | Specifies the name of the selected field ID. This field is updated automatically with the name of the selected field ID. |
| System Value | Enter or use the AssistEdit button to select the Business Central value for which you want to define a translation. This value should correspond to a record from the specified field ID. For example, if the Field ID field is set to Location ID, the value in the System Value field should represent a specific location record. |
| System Name | Specifies the name of the selected system value. This field is updated automatically with the name of the selected system value. |
| Translation Value | Enter the value that should be converted or translated into the system value during data exchange. |
