Understand settlement unit of measure

The settlement unit of measure is used within settlement calculations which is generally set up with a weight-related unit of measure such as KG, Ton, etc. All items picked up in the settlement trace must have this unit of measure setup in the Item unit of measure table with a correct relationship to its base unit of measure.

Settlement Grouping Type

The settlement grouping type determines how settlement lines are reported back to vendor on one are multiple Grower Return reports.

• Per Settlement implies all the purchase lines within one settlement are reported back to the vendor on one grower return document.
• Per Purchase Order implies all the purchase lines belonging to one purchase order within one settlement are reported back to the vendor on one grower return document.

Invoice Grouping Type

The invoice grouping type determines how settlement lines are grouped together on one are multiple purchase invoices when posting a settlement.

• Per Pay-to Vendor implies all settlement lines within a settlement that have the same pay to vendor are combined in a separate purchase invoice.
• Per Source Document implies all settlement lines within a settlement that have the same source document are combined in a separate invoice.
