Manage pooling claims

Claims include issuing credits or adjusting prices, which modifies the product prices and impacts the revenue generated by the respective purchase orders. For more information, see Understand claims calculation.

  • On the Pooling Claims page, you can view the pooling claim lines with the following fields:

    On the action bar, select Edit List to edit the claim details on the pooling claim line.

    FieldDescription
    QuantitySpecifies the number of units of the item ordered in the settlement lines associated with this pooling revenue line.
    Quantity ReceivedSpecifies the number of units of the item that have been posted as received in the settlement lines associated with this pooling revenue line.
    Proposed Sales QuantitySpecifies the proposed quantity of items returned by customers calculated based on the sum of the quantity of all the pooling detail lines of the Type field set to Claim.
    The UOM used for the quantity is displayed next to the field name in parentheses.
    Pooling QuantitySpecifies the quantity that will be reported to the grower(s) within this settlement. This value is derived from the Proposed Sales Quantity field value.
    Unit of Measure CodeSpecifies the UOM code applied to the pooling line.
    Proposed Claim Value GrossSpecifies the proposed initial claim amount before any adjustments or deductions are applied. This value is calculated as the sum of all Gross Revenue (Indirect) field values of pooling detail lines of the Type field set to Claim.
    You can select this value to view the pooling details lines.
    Proposed Claim DiscountSpecifies the proposed discount granted in sales calculated based on all claim transactions in the settlement lines for this pooling line. This value is calculated as the sum of the Discount Value (Indirect) field of pooling detail lines of the Type field set to Claim.
    You can select this value to view the pooling details lines.
    Proposed Claim Value NetSpecifies the final claim amount after applying any relevant deductions, discounts, or allowances to the initial claim value (Proposed Claim Value Gross field value). It represents the actual claim amount to be processed and recorded in the pooling transaction.
    You can select this value to view the pooling details lines.
    Pooling Claim Value GrossSpecifies the gross claim amount to report to the vendor(s). Initially, the field value is the same as the Proposed Claim Value Gross field, you can edit this value as required. Changes made to this field impact the Pooling Claim Value Net field.
    Pooling Claim DiscountSpecifies the discount on claims to be reported to the vendor(s). Initially, the field value is the same as the Proposed Claim Discount field, you can edit this value as required. Changes made to this field impact the Pooling Net Revenue field.
    Pooling Claim Value NetSpecifies the net claim value that is to be reported to the vendor(s). Initially, the field value is the same as the Proposed Claim Value Net field, you can edit this value as required. This value is used to calculate the Purch. Inv. Amount (LCY) on the Pooling page.
    ModifiedSpecifies whether manual changes have been made to the pooling claim line.

  • On the action bar, select Claim Details to open the Pooling Details page and view all the pooling details lines to understand how the summarized claims and discount information were calculated, and in which documents the individual claims components were posted.
