Overview of Feature Control
You can use the Feature Control page to manage the activation status of specific extensions. To access the Feature Control page,
- Select the Search icon
, enter Feature Control, and then choose the related link.
This page lists all the installed applications with their status (Enabled/Disabled).
Conditions for enabling or disabling extensions
The following conditions explains how to manage the enabling or disabling of extensions.

To enable an extension, ensure the other extension is disabled. Enabling one extension will automatically disable the other if it is already enabled.

If you disable one of the extensions, all functionalities of that extension are no longer available for use.
If the extension was previously enabled before uninstalling, its status may remain enabled until it is manually adjusted or related extensions are managed. -
When the Aptean License Plating extension is enabled, the packaging caption on the Inventory Setup page is License Plate. If the extension is disabled, the field remains blank.

The Aptean License Plating extension cannot be disabled if open item ledger entries have a non-blank packaging number. To disable Aptean License Plating extension, ensure that all such records are removed or managed appropriately.

The Aptean Advanced Warehouse Management extension cannot be disabled if there is at least one record in the license plate content table. To disable Aptean Advanced Warehouse Management extension, all license plate content records must be removed or managed accordingly.
After the Aptean License Plating and Aptean Advanced Warehouse Management extensions are installed, the Aptean Feature Control extension configures automatically, and their statuses on the Feature Control page appear as blank.
- The Aptean Beverage Advanced Sales Management extension, Drink-IT Edition, does not allow the item exclusivity functionality based on recurring sales lines, to be disabled after upgrading to version 2404.0.0.0. If any issues occur during the transition to this new feature, the system will notify you with a message about the conflicts.
- The Aptean Quality Control (QCA) extension for BC can be enabled or disabled to manage quality check triggers during document processing. When enabled, quality checks are automatically triggered based on predefined configuration. To disable the extension, ensure that no active quality control checks or dependencies that could interfere with ongoing processes exist.
