The accounts that will we used when deposit is posted are defined in the General Posting Setup:

  • Sales transactions
    • Sales Account and Sales Credit Memo Account
      And optional, when Empty Good Inventory Valuation is in place.
    • Empty Goods Value Account and Empty Goods Value Balancing Account
  • Purchase transactions
    • Purchase Account and purchcase Credit Memo Account
      And optional, when Empty Good Inventory Valuation is in place.
    • Empty Goods Value Account and Empty Goods Value Balancing Account

Best practice is to use a dedicated Gen. Product Posting Group for deposits.
