Empty good revaluation

Inventory valuation on empty goods is only applicable to trade items, where you don’t have the ownership of the empty goods.

When you want to implement the new value on your empty goods inventory , you can use the Empty Goods Journal:

1. Select the Search icon , enter Empty Goods Journals, and then choose the related link.
2. Run the Calculate Inventory Value action.
3. Fill in the New Inventory Unit Value and Posting Date as necessary.
4. Choose the Post action to make the revaluation.

This revaluation will create two new Empty Good Ledger Entries per Empty Goods Code:

• A reverse of the total Quantity and Inventory Value.
• A new entry with the total Quantity and New Inventory Value.
