Features
With this release of the Aptean Beverage Empty Goods and Deposit Management extension, Drink-IT Edition, the return entry process has been redesigned to provide a seamless and consistent experience when managing full and empty goods returns. You can add and modify return entries from the Sales Order, Sales Return Order, or the Route Planning Worksheet page, ensuring flexibility and accuracy in handling returns. The following enhancements have been made to improve the return entry process.
- Sales orders and sales return orders contain the same return entry information, ensuring uniformity across documents.
- If all return lines are set to zero on the Sales Return Order page, the system automatically deletes both the header and line records.
- When empty goods are created as a sales return order, you can still modify the return entries on the Sales Order page for better control over return processing.
- The return entry process works correctly on the Route Planning Worksheet page, allowing you to apply changes without encountering errors.
These changes apply to purchase orders, ensuring a consistent return management workflow across both sales and purchase transactions.
Resolved issues

241067 | The system fails to correctly round off the sales or purchase empty good quantity in the sales or purchase line based on the item unit of measure when the Rounding field value is set to No on the Empty Goods Items Classifications page, leading to unit conversion inconsistencies. |
276704 | The system incorrectly generates the records on the Empty Goods Ledger Entries page when posting the shipment for items without an empty goods and deposit management setup, even though no document empty goods lines exist in the posted shipment. |
