Why

Multiple Aptean Beverage apps make use of Reason Codes. To prevent yourself from selecting from a long list of codes, you can now define where you want a reason code to be available for selection. On the Return Entry page, you can only choose reason codes that are filtered based on whether the return entry is used in the sales or purchase process.

Support different return policies for returned empty goods and returned full goods (Return Entry to return order).

Why

Some customers require a separate credit memo for returned items, like deposited empty goods and one day returns (full goods). Others require returned items to be added to the order and be invoiced in the sales invoice. Or even a separate credit memo for the returned full goods and the empties included in the invoice.

How

1. Select the Search icon , enter Customers, and then choose the related link.
2. Select the customer you want to define the return policy for.
3. On the Customer Card, on the Empty Goods and Deposit Management FastTab, turn on the Empty Good Return Entry to Return Order and Full Good Return Entry to Return Order toggles as necessary. When a sales order is created for this customer:
   • The value of these toggles is copied to that order where you can still change them for that order.
   • When returns are registered on the Return Entry page:
     • Lines where the field Is Empty Good is Yes are processed according to the Empty Good Return Entry to Return Order setup.
     • Lines where the field Is Empty Good is No are processed according to the Full Good Return Entry to Return Order setup.

[!NOTE] In the previous version of Aptean Beverage, the field Return Entry to Return Order was already available. When this field was selected, then with this upgrade both new fields that replace the existing will also be selected.

What

Is Empty Good Item should not set the Inventory Value Zero to TRUE when selected.

Why

An empty goods item is for cost posting an item like any other item. When you turn on the Is Empty Good toggle on the item card, the Inventory Value Zero field is also automatically selected. This is now not the case anymore. You can select the field, but it is not automatic anymore.

This change will have impact on new empty goods items.

What

Incorrect dimension values in attached lines for EGM before/after release (or copy document).

Why

When you changed a dimension value in a sales document or purchase document, and confirmed the update lines message that appeared, then that change was not updating the document lines that were attached for deposits. This is solved.

PBI 244198 - The unit of measure on deposit lines should not be changed on the warehouse posting

What

When posting a warehouse shipment or receipt, the unit of measure code was changed on the attached tax and deposit lines in the source documents. That has been corrected.
