Features

With the features added in this release of the Aptean EDI extension,

• The system updates the Bill-to section on the Sales Order page while processing the Aptean EDI 850 message as follows based on the USE_NAV_BILLTO port option.

  • If the USE_NAV_BILLTO port option is set to Yes, it is mapped as per the below hierarchy:

    1. The address of the bill-to customer in the associated Customer Card page.
    2. The address of the associated customer.

  • If the USE_NAV_BILLTO port option is set to No, it is mapped to the bill-to address in the Aptean EDI 850 inbound file.

• The system performs mapping of certain text elements while processing the Aptean EDI 855 message from the second time when the SEND_RTS_DETAILS port option is set to Yes. The system prompts for confirmation messages.

  If Yes is selected, the following mapping occurs:

  • The Lading Qty. text element is mapped to the sum of the Quantity field values in the sales order lines.
  • The Weight text element is mapped to the product of the Gross Weight and Quantity field values in the sales order lines. If mulitple lines are available, then the sum of the line values is updated.
  • The Transactionpurposecode text element is updated with SH as a default value, else it is 00 as per standard process.
  • The RequestedPickupDate text element is mapped as per the following hierarchy:

    1. The Shipment Date field value in the sales order header.

    2. The Third Date Record field value in the EDI document.

    3. The ThirdDateRecord field value in the Apean EDI 855 inbound file.

    
    The RequestedPickupDate text element is always mapped as per the above hierarchy, regardless of the port option, and every time the message is processed.

  If No is selected, it follows the standard process.

• The system supports updating the CartonLevel details when processing the Aptean EDI 856 Level 4 message, even if only pallet-level EDI packages are available.

• The system maps the PONumber and AdjustmentNumber text elements to the values in the External Document No. and Your Reference fields on the sales document while processing the Aptean EDI 812 message, reversing the previous mapping logic.

UI/UX changes

The USE_NAV_BILLTO and SEND_RTS_DETAILS port options have been added to the EDI Ports page.
