Features

With this release of the Aptean EDI extension,

• The system automatically updates the ultimate consignee details on the respective documents when the Aptean Ultimate Consignee extension is installed while processing through Aptean EDI 810, Aptean EDI 850, Aptean EDI 856, Aptean EDI 860, and Aptean EDI 940 ports.

  
  Ensure that the ultimate consignee codes are assigned to the ship-to codes.

  The hierarchy of the update in inbound and outbound documents will be as follows:

  • Inbound - The translation value of the Ultimate Consignee Code field > The GLN field value on the Ultimate Consignee Code card page.

  • Outbound - The GLN field value on the Ultimate Consignee Code card page > The translation value of the Ultimate Consignee Code field > Ultimate consignee location from inbound file.

• The system updates the EarliestDeliveryDateTime, LatestDeliveryDateTime, and RequestedDateTime field values on the inbound file to the outbound file when processed through Aptean EDI 850, Aptean EDI 810, Aptean EDI 856, Aptean EDI 856 Consolidated, Aptean EDI 856 Level 4, and Aptean EDI 940 ports.

  
  The document can contain either the EarliestDeliveryDateTime and LatestDeliveryDateTime field values or the RequestedDateTime field value, but not both together.

• You can define the Net Weight field value on the EDI Package page and update the volume and net weight fields for the packages while processing through Aptean EDI 856 Consolidated and Aptean EDI 856 Level 4 ports. The field elements are mapped as follows:

  The field elements in the PackLevelRecord and CartonLevelRecord sections are updated with the field values from the respective EDI packages and applicable only when the Aptean SSCC extension is installed.

• You can view the details of the pallet and carton information of the package lines in the Packaging section along with the order level information while processing through the Aptean EDI 856 Level 4 port. This gets updated when the associated Posted Sales Shipment page has package lines and the Aptean SSCC extension is installed.

• You can view the details of the source document on the associated EDI Document page and the details are automatically populated on the EDI Document page if a source document is created via the Aptean EDI extension. Additionally, the details from the EDI Document page of the source document gets inherited to the EDI Document page linked to the respective posted document.

Integrations

The Aptean EDI extension is integrated with the Aptean Ultimate Consignee extension to ensure accurate and efficient delivery tracking.

UI/UX changes

The following UI/UX changes have been made in this release.

• The Net Weight field has been added to the General FastTab of the EDI Package card page.

• The EDI Document page has been added to the linked sales, purchase, transfer, warehouse and posted documents (Related > EDI > Show EDI Document).
