What's new in version 2408.0.0.0
Features
With this release of the Aptean EDI extension,
-
The catch weight quantity and catch weight unit of measure field values are added to the Aptean 856, Aptean 856 Consolidated, Aptean 856 Level 4 Outbound, Aptean 945 Level 4 Inbound ports if the related item is a catch weight item.
-
The catch weight quantity, catch weight unit of measure, and catch weight price field values are added to the Aptean 810 Outbound and Aptean 812 Outbound ports if the related item is a catch weight item.
These catch weight field values are available only when the Aptean Catch Weight extension is integrated with the Aptean EDI extension through Aptean EDI Bridge extension.
-
When you use a catch weight item in the Aptean 850/860 inbound file and assign a lot number, or lot number and license plate number, to the related item, the system updates the Weight Quantity (UOM) field on the sales order line during EDI message processing.
-
The addition of the Aptean 944 Level 4 Inbound port allows you to create or update warehouse receipts associated with purchase or transfer orders. Additionally, if the Aptean Catch Weight, Aptean Packaging, and Aptean License Plating extensions are integrated with the Aptean EDI extension, related field values such as weight quantity, packaging details, and lot/license plate details will be updated based on ApteanEDI944Level4 XML file.
-
The CustomersDUNSNumber and VendorsDUNSNumber field values are updated with the values from the EDI Port Options page related to the Aptean EDI 810 and Aptean EDI 826 port, respectively. If the values are blank on the EDI Port Options page, then the values are updated with the VAT Registration No. field value on the related Customer Card and Vendor Card pages, respectively.
-
Additional header information has been mapped to the Aptean 812 Outbound port.
-
Additional mappings have been added to the Aptean 810 Outbound port to manage scenarios where no inbound message is available for reference.
-
The TradingPartnerCode field in the Aptean 810, 855, 856, and 856 Consolidated Outbound ports is updated to support the TPCODE_TRANS_PRIO port option.
- If TPCODE_TRANS_PRIO is set to Yes, the TradingPartnerCode field prioritizes customer translation over other mapping.
- If TPCODE_TRANS_PRIO is set to No, the TradingPartnerCode field follows default customer mapping.
-
The Aptean 812 Outbound port supports sending posted credit memos using the Send Posted Credit Memo action. You can also view any linked documents associated with the posted credit memo.
-
The Aptean 850 Outbound port has been updated to support location in the ShipToCode field.
-
The Aptean 943 Outbound port has been updated to include the related purchase order or transfer order numbers in the Shipment field.
-
The system automatically creates warehouse receipts from transfer or purchase order based on the Document No. field value via Aptean 944 Inbound port if there are no existing warehouse receipts associated with the orders.
-
The system automatically sends and processes the Aptean 940 EDI message. This occurs when the Auto Proc. Whse. Shpt toggle on the EDI Setup page is turned on, the Pick Ticket Port Code field on the Location Card page has a value, and the EDI Document toggle on the Warehouse Shipment page is automatically turned on after the shipment is released.
-
You can create nested EDI packages for each SSCC line that has a value in the Shipping Unit or Shipping Unit No. field. These nested EDI packages refer to carton-level packages mapped to each package header. This functionality is available only when the Aptean SSCC extension is integrated with Aptean EDI extension.
-
The Aptean 856 Level 4 Outbound port has been added along with the Aptean 856 port to support carton-level EDI packaging process.
-
The EDI Packages have been updated to support an additional carton level for products requiring it. To enable this, the No. of Child Packages field has been added to the EDI Packages page.
-
You can view the EDI Packages created via transfer orders on the Posted Warehouse Shipments page by selecting Related> EDI > EDI Packages.
-
The Aptean 943 message has been added that allows you to create EDI packages for transfer orders by mapping outbound values from the warehouse receipt to the EDI Messages page.
-
A new port option has been added to the Aptean 945 Invoice Level 4 inbound port that automatically creates sales invoices and supports packaging, license plating, and catch weight.
-
The system automatically releases and posts the warehouse shipment when the Auto Release/Post Inbound toggle on the EDI Port page associated with Aptean 945 Level 4 Inbound is turned on.
-
When you add sales shipment lines to a sales invoice via the Get Shipment Lines action, EDI field values get automatically inherited from the sales shipment to the sales invoice. This is applicable only if the related EDI field values on the sales invoice are empty.
-
The InvoiceDate, InvoiceNumber, and DataItemsReturned fields have been renamed as DocumentDate, DocumentNumber, and DateItemsReturned associated with Aptean 812 Inbound port.
Integrations
You can integrate the Aptean EDI extension with Aptean Catch Weight extension to add the catch weight field values to the Aptean 856, Aptean 856 Consolidated, Aptean 856 Level 4 Outbound, Aptean 945 Level 4 Inbound, Aptean 810 and Aptean 812 Outbound ports.
