Enhancements/Modifications

With this release of the Aptean E-Commerce extension,

• Only a subset of your catalog items is loaded initially on the Order Entry – My Profile page, and additional items are fetched incrementally as you scroll or navigate through your profile. This enhances performance and reduces load times for large catalogs. To know more, see Set up e-commerce.

• As an admin user, you can automatically block users who have been inactive for a specified period. To know more, see Set up site configuration.

• As an admin user, manually block or unblock users in the e-commerce platform without deleting their accounts. To know more, see Edit user configuration.

• The system stores the email address of the user who submits an order. This email is captured on the sales header and posted sales invoice documents, allowing internal users and support teams to identify the front-end user responsible for each transaction. To know more, see Add new users.

• The CSV import user process has been enhanced to provide clearer formatting guidance, visual feedback during imports, and improved handling of empty rows when importing users into the e-commerce platform.

UI/UX changes

The following UI/UX changes have been made in this release.

• The Specify how many catalog items to fetch at a time field has been added to the E-commerce Setup page.

• The E-Commerce User Email field has been added to the following pages:

  • Sales Orders
  • Sales Order
  • Posted Sales Invoices
  • Posted Sales Invoice

• The Automatic User Inactivation section has been added to the Site Configuration page in the e-commerce portal.

• The Inactive checkbox has been added to the Edit user window associated with the User management page in the e-commerce portal.
