Features

With the features added in this release of the Aptean E-Commerce extension,

• As an admin user, you can import multiple customer contacts and create user accounts using a CSV file. This helps you save time and effort by avoiding manual data entry. To know more, see Import e-commerce users from a CSV file.

• The system uses the Created by E-Commerce toggle to distinguish sales documents created through the e-commerce platform. This allows you to easily identify, filter, or report on sales documents that originates from the e-commerce portal.

• The system sends a welcome email for the e-commerce platform that includes a secure link, allowing you to set your password at any time, even after the original invitation expires.

Enhancements/Modifications

With this release of the Aptean E-Commerce extension,

• The delivery date and cutoff time calculations are based on the location code. If the selected ship-to address does not have a location code, the system automatically uses the location code on the Customer Card page. This ensures accurate delivery estimates even when the ship-to address is incomplete.

• You can view all available items from multiple catalogs in your e-commerce account if your customer record in Business Central is linked to more than one item catalog. This enhancement provides full visibility into the products you can browse and order, even if they belong to different catalogs.

UI/UX changes

The following UI/UX changes have been made in this release.

• The IMPORT USERS button has been added to the User management page.

• The Created by E-Commerce toggle has been added to the following pages in Business Central.
