You can perform the following activities with the features included in this release:

• Set up the claims process with the necessary price adjustments, return location and document number series.
• Address various aspects of claim handling, such as sales claims involving customer returns and redirects. This commonly occurs when a customer refuses or returns a product, which is then allocated to a different customer.
• Create a purchase claim from the sales claim to return the product returned by the customer to the vendor from whom the product was received.
• Address purchase claims involving vendor penalties and claims. In cases where product quality is a significant concern, vendors may be subject to penalties because of sales claims.
• Create purchase claims for returning the product or adjusting the price paid. This is accomplished by generating a purchase credit memo with an item charge, allowing for seamless tracking and resolution of purchase-related claims.
