Processing incoming messages
With the right setup, the incoming messages are processed automatically. The following updates are done per message.
IE802 – Reminder Message for Excise Movement
When this message is received, the EMCS Status field on the General FastTab of the Customs Document card page is automatically updated with Reminder Message for Excise Movement (IE802).
IE807 – Interruption of Movement
When this message is received, the EMCS Status field on the General FastTab of the Customs Document card page is automatically updated with The Interruption of Movement (IE807).
On the Delay/Interruption FastTab, the Interruption Reason, Complementary Information and Interruption Language fields are updated automatically from the ARC number.
IE840 – Event Reported
When this message is received, the EMCS Status field on the General FastTab of the Customs Document card page is automatically updated with Event Reported (IE840).
On the Event Report FastTab, fields are updated automatically from the ARC number.
IE881 – Manually Closed
When this message is received, the EMCS Status field on the General FastTab of the Customs Document card page is automatically updated with Manually Closed (IE881).
IE905 – Manually Closed
When this message is received, the EMCS Status field on the General FastTab of the Customs Document card page is automatically updated with Manually Closed (IE905).
IE803 – Notification of Diverted
When this message is received, the EMCS Status field on the General FastTab of the Customs Document card page is automatically updated with Notification of Diverted (IE803).
IE813 – Change of Destination
When this message is received, the EMCS Status field on the General FastTab of the Customs Document card page is automatically updated with Change of Destination (IE813).
IE819 – Alert of Rejection
When this message is received, the EMCS Status field on the General FastTab of the Customs Document card page is automatically updated with Alert of Rejection (IE813).
