Features

With the features added in this release of the Aptean Beverage Customs Document Management extension, Drink-IT Edition,

• The system supports improved identification of the related customer, vendor, or location when processing IE801 messages. The system also checks additional data sources to identify matches, including the following:
  • Additional customs license records, based on tax registration number and tax warehouse reference.
  • Tax classification relation records for customer or vendor types.
  • When a match is found, the system automatically fills the Sell-to/Buy-from Code and Ship-to Source Code field values on the Customs Document page.
    
  This improves the system ability to identify related business entities during IE801 message processing by using alternative customs license sources.

• The Brand Name Of Products field on the Customs Document page is no longer mandatory and can be left blank, in accordance with NL and BE MIG 815 specifications.

Enhancements/Modifications

With this release of the Aptean Beverage Customs Document Management extension, Drink-IT Edition, enhancements have been made to prevent the creation of an EMCS document for sales return orders. The sales return orders no longer trigger customs document validation or error messages when no document number is specified, allowing them to be released as expected.
