Post Physical Inventory Journal Lines for Catch Weight item

You can enter the Weight Quantity of the Catch Weight Item in the Physical Inventory Journal for both positive and negative adjustment of the Physical Inventory.

1. Select the Search icon , enter Physical Inventory Journals, and then choose the related link.
   The Physical Inventory Journals page opens.
2. On the action bar, select Prepare > Calculate Inventory.

The Inventory line for the Catch Weight Item is automatically generated with the Qty. (Calculated) and Qty. (Phys. Inventory) fields updated.

The Weight Quantity (KG) field on the Physical Inventory Journal line is blank when the Item Tracking Line is created. Once you fill the Item Tracking Line, this field is automatically updated.

To Post Physical Inventory Journal Lines for Negative Adjustment

1. Change the value on the Qty. (Phys Inventory) field on the Physical Inventory Journal line. The Quantity (KG) field is updated automatically.
2. On the action bar, select Line > Item Tracking Lines to open the Item Tracking Lines page.
3. Select the AssistEdit Button on the Lot No. field and select the required Lot Number.
   The Item Tracking Lines are updated.
4. Change the Weight Quantity (KG) field.
5. Close the Item Tracking Lines page.
   For each Item Tracking Line, the Document Weight Line is created and updated. The Weight Quantity (KG) field on the Physical Inventory Journal Line is updated. You can access the Document Weight Lines by clicking the value in this field.
6. On the action bar, select Post/Print > Post.
7. Select Yes to post the Physical Inventory Journal Line.

The Item Ledger Entry is created for the Physical Inventory Journal Line and corresponding Item Weight Ledger Entry is created.

To Post Physical Inventory Journal Lines for Positive Adjustment

1. Change the value on the Qty. (Phys Inventory) field on the Physical Inventory Journal line. The Quantity (KG) field is updated automatically.
2. On the action bar, select Line > Item Tracking Lines to open the Item Tracking Lines page.
3. On the action bar, select Process > Assign Lot No. to create a new Lot.
   The Item Tracking Lines are updated.
4. You can update the Weight Quantity (KG) field on the Item Tracking Lines page.
5. Post the physical inventory journal lines for positive adjustment.
   Both the Item Ledger Entries and Item Weight Ledger Entries are created for the Physical Journal Line.
