Create Document Weight Lines for Item Journal Lines

You can enter the value in the Weight Quantity (KG) field on the Item Tracking Lines page on the Item Journal Lines with the validation for Positive Adjustment or Purchase.

1. Select the Search icon , enter Item Journals, and then choose the related link.
   The Item Journals page opens.
2. On the Entry Type field, select Positive Adjmt.
3. Fill in the required fields.
4. On the action bar, select Line > Item Tracking Lines to open the Item Tracking Lines page.
5. On the action bar, select Process > Assign Lot No. to assign a new lot.
   The Item Tracking Lines are updated.
   The Weight Quantity (KG) field on the Item Journal Line is updated.
6. Change the Quantity (Base) field andcreate two new Lots.
7. Update the Weight Quantity (KG) field.
8. Close the Item Tracking Lines page.

The Document Weight Lines are updated as the Item Tracking Lines are saved. The Weight Quantity (KG) field is updated on the Item Journal Line. You can access the Document Weight Lines by clicking on the value in the Weight Quantity (KG) field on the Item Journal line.

The Weight Quantity fields on the Item Tracking Lines exist only for the Catch Weight Items.

When the Item Tracking Specification Line is deleted, the associated Document Weight Lines are also deleted. This is applicable to both Positive Adjustment and Purchase.

You can enter negative values in the weight quantity fields only when the value of the Quantity (KG) field entered in the Item Journal Line is negative.
