Create Document Weight Line for Warehouse Pick Lines

A Document Weight Line is created for the Warehouse Pick Lines with a Catch Weight Item.

  1. Select the Search icon , enter Warehouse Shipments, and then choose the related link.
    The Warehouse Shipments list page opens.
  2. Select the required No. to open the Warehouse Shipment page.
  3. On the action bar, select Process > Create Pick.
  4. Click OK to create a Warehouse Pick.
  5. Click the AssistEdit button on the Lot No. field, select the required lot number from the Lot No. List.
    The Weight Qty. to Handle (KG) field on the Warehouse Pick Page is updated.
    The Weight Qty. to Handle (KG) field is filled based on the average weight for the selected Lot.
  6. Change the value on the Qty. to Handle (KG) field.
    The Weight Qty. to Handle (KG) field value is updated according to the average weight.
  7. Change the value on the Qty. to handle (base) and Weight Qty. to handle (base) fields on the Take line.
  8. On the Warehouse Pick Page, on the action bar, select Process > Register Pick.
Warning

An error message appears if the Weight Qty. to Handle (KG) field on the Take line is not equal to the Weight Qty. to Handle (KG) field on the Place line.

  1. Update the Weight Qty. to Handle (KG) field on the Place line.
  2. Register the Pick.

The Weight Quantity (KG) field on the Registered Warehouse Pick Line is updated. The Item Tracking Lines are created with the updated Weight Quantity (KG) field on the Warehouse Shipment Lines and corresponding Document Weight Lines.

Note

When you split the Take or Place Line by selecting Functions > Split Line on the Lines FastTab on the Warehouse Pick page, the Weight Qty. to Handle (KG) field value is updated with the average weight of the lot in the new line.
