Set up a table to synchronize
Determine which tables need to be synchronized and then, set up these tables for synchronization. The system will synchronize all data from these tables.
- Select the Search icon
, enter Table Synchronization Setup, and then choose the related link.
- Select New.
- Select a Table ID from the menu.
The Table Name is filled automatically when you select the table ID. - Select the Synchronize checkbox.
By default, this checkbox will be selected. If you don’t need the tables to be synchronized, clear the checkbox. - Select Synchronization Type:
Full: A full synchronization will be executed i.e., all data will be synchronized to the data lake.
Incremental: Only new or modified data will be synchronized to the data lake. This depends on the Last Synchronization Date Time to determine if there are any new updates.
When you delete a table, the table data still shows after the Incremental synchronization.
The selected tables get synchronized which can be checked with the Synchronization Status:
- The status is empty initially.
- After you start the synchronization, it displays Synchronizing.
- When the synchronization is successful, it displays Synchronized.
- If the synchronization is unsuccessful for any reason, it displays Failed.
