Enhancements/Modifications
With this release of the Aptean Beverage Advanced Warehouse Management extension, Drink-IT Edition:
- The Assign Tracking by FEFO action functionality on the Warehouse Shipment page has been enhanced to efficiently assign tracking information based on the FEFO method when managing warehouse shipments for transfer orders.
- Enhancements have been made to validate user permission sets and licenses when accessing the application.
- The system automatically verifies that users have the correct permissions and licenses assigned before allowing access to specific functionalities.
- If a required permission set or license is not valid, certain functionalities are disabled to ensure that the application is used only by authorized users, maintaining security and compliance.
- The system updates the Type field value on the License Plate page when the license plate type is updated in the New Type field on the License Plate Reservation Entries page for warehouse reclassification journals.
The system displays an error when deleting license plates on the License Plate Reservation Entries page after calculating the warehouse adjustment for the item journal. These enhancements have been made to address the issue reported in bug ID #280768.
- The warehouse receipt process has been enhanced to automatically manage the license plate type during item receipt, ensuring correct application of put-away templates and improving operational efficiency.
- When one license plate type exists, it is automatically assigned to each warehouse receipt line on the Warehouse Receipt page.
- When multiple license plate types exist, the item default license plate type is assigned to each warehouse receipt line.
- When manually adding a license plate tracking line, if the selected license plate has contents, the system automatically uses the existing license plate type. If you attempt to change the license plate type for a license plate that contains contents, the system displays an error message.
- The License Plate Type field value can only be edited in the place line on the Warehouse Put-Away page. You cannot change the License Plate Type field value in the take line. If attempted, the system displays an error message. Additionally, when the warehouse put-away is registered, the system checks if the License Plate Type field value selected in the take line is different from the one selected in the place line. If they are different, the system automatically updates the license plate record to use the license plate type from the place line.
UI/UX changes
The Block double LPN on Purchase checkbox name has been renamed to Block double LPN on Warehouse Receipt on the License Plate Tracking Codes page.
