Walkthrough: Use blanket orders in fast order entry

Blanket Orders can be a useful document in beverage sales processes. For instance to register free items that are promised by a sales rep, or pre-register the sales of seasonal products, like a Christmas beer.

On the Order Entry page, you will be prompted for existing blanket order lines if a blanket order exists for a customer. With an action, you can add lines from that blanket order to your order:

1. Select the Search icon , enter Blanket Sales Orders, and then choose the related link.
2. Choose the New action.
3. Fill in the fields as necessary. Hover over a field to read a short description.
4. On the Lines FastTab, create separate lines for the free items, the seasonal products, or else.

To add blanket order lines to the order entry pages

1. Select the Search icon , enter Sales Orders, and then choose the related link.
2. Choose the New action and create an order for the customer that you created the blanket order for.
3. Choose the Order Entry (Ctrl+Alt+N) to open the order entry page
4. There is a notification for the existing blanket order lines. Choose the Get Blanket Order Lines action.
5. Select the lines that you want to add to the order.
