Create sales quote with bracket pricing

When creating a sales quote for a customer using the bracket pricing feature, the system applies pricing based on the configured hierarchy. The bracket pricing group code is inherited from the Customer Card page and the Bracket Pricing FactBox displays details about the applicable thresholds.

Bracket pricing group code inheritance

The Bracket Pricing Group Code field value on the Sales Quote page is inherited from the Customer Card page based on the following fields:

The system checks these fields in sequence. If the Ship-to Code field value is configured, the Bracket Pricing Group Code field value takes precedence.

If the Bill-to Customer field value is updated on the Sales Order page, the Bracket Pricing Group Code field value updates accordingly.

If the Ship-to Code field value is updated, the Bracket Pricing Group Code field value updates based on the new Ship-to Code field value.

Even if the Bill-to Customer field value is updated, the Bracket Pricing Group Code field value is still inherited from the Ship-to Code field value, if it is configured.

In the Sales Quote section of the FactBox, you can view the following details:

Code	Enter a code for the bracket pricing group.
Description	Enter a description for the bracket pricing group.
Usage Type	Select the usage type of the bracket pricing group. The default value is Sale.
Source Type	Select the source type to which the system must apply the bracket pricing group of the sales document. The available options are: Campaign: The system updates the bracket pricing code in the Campaign field of the sales document. Cust. Price Group: The system updates the bracket pricing group code in the Customer Price Group field of the sales document. Cust. Disc. Group: The system updates the bracket pricing code in the Customer Disc. Group field of the sales document.
Threshold Type	Select the type of threshold the system must apply. The available options are: Quantity: Applies bracket pricing based on the quantity of items in the sales document. Weight: Applies bracket pricing based on the total weight of items. Weight and Quantity: Applies bracket pricing only when both weight and quantity meet their respective thresholds. Weight or Quantity: Applies bracket pricing if either the weight or quantity meets the threshold.
Unit of Measure Code	Select the unit of measure code used for the bracket pricing group.
Maximum Weight	Enter the maximum weight applicable for bracket pricing.
Minimum Weight	Enter the minimum weight applicable for bracket pricing.
Maximum Quantity	Enter the maximum quantity applicable for bracket pricing.
Minimum Quantity	Enter the minimum quantity applicable for bracket pricing.

If the Bracket Pricing Group Code field value on the Sales Quote page is set to blank, the field values on the Bracket Pricing FactBox are not generated.

On the Sales Order page, if the Bracket Pricing Group Code field value is set to blank, the Calculate Bracket Pricing action (Actions > Functions) cannot be executed.
