Alcohol Balance Set Up - Posting

  1. Select the Search icon alt text, enter Alcohol Balance Set Up and then choose the related link.

  2. Open the alcohol balance set up card, and then choose the Posting FastTab.

  3. In the Set Stock To Zero Jnl. Template field, select the journal template used when setting the lot stock to zero.

  4. In the Set Stock To Zero Jnl. Batch Name field, select the journal batch associated with the selected journal template for setting the lot stock to zero.

  5. On the Aging Adjustment FastTab, in the Alcohol Aging Adj. Jnl. Template field, select the item journal template that is used to record alcohol aging losses. The system posts the loss quantities as negative item adjustments in this journal.


    Only item journal templates of type, Item and Phys. Inventory can be selected.

  6. In the Alcohol Aging Adj. Jnl. Batch field, select the batch name within the selected journal template where the alcohol aging loss entries should be posted.

Item Recl. Jnl. Name

Specifies the name of the item journal that is used when changes in strength are posted.

Strength changes are applied to item ledger entries. The entry with the existing strength will be reversed and a new entry will be created. Strength changes can be executed from the lot no. information card and in item reclassification journals.

Item Recl. Jnl. Batch Name

Specifies the name of the item journal batch that is used when changes in strength are posted.

Alcohol Loss Jnl. Name

Specifies the name of the alcohol loss journal that is used when alcohol losses are posted.

Alcohol losses can be posted from released production orders and finished production orders . When posted, alcohol loss entries will be created.

Alcohol Loss Jnl. Batch Name

Specifies the name of the alcohol loss journal batch that is used when alcohol losses are posted.
