Set up attribute template for item category lots

You can set up an attribute template so that every time a lot number of that item group is created, a specific set of lot attributes is populated.

1. Select the Search icon , enter Item Categories, and then choose the related link.
   The Item Categories page opens.
2. Select an item category for which the lot attribute template should be set up.
3. Select the AssistEdit button .
4. Select View.
   The Item Category Card page opens.
5. On the action bar, select More options > Related > Lot Attributes Template.
   The Lot Attribute Template page opens.
6. In the Attribute field, select a lot attribute from the list, e.g., “pH”.
7. In the Fixed Value field, select a fixed value from the drop-down menu. For this specific item category, this value is considered as default.

A template is now set up.
